6 Minute Smile :)

Sometimes - in the middle of  a crazy day - it only takes 6 min and a smile is back on my face :) I know this isn't your special day, but maybe it will make you smile too!

I plan to post the verbatim of the vows we wrote each other and of the special audio clip we played, etc. I wish I could show you the ENTIRE video of  our big day but it's 3 hours long, ha! We are trying to figure out a way to export only certain clips so you can see - for example - our vows.

Baby BOOM!!!

Hey,

Babies seem to be everywhere right now! I know several people that have had them just in the past 2 weeks AND two of our dear friends had a baby today!!! Welcome to the world little Eva!!!

Speaking of babies -  let me clarify - WE DO NOT WANT ONE! If more person asks me about it - my reaction may be an immediate left hook, haha!!

Seriously, if I had a dollar for everyone that has asked if we were going to have a baby (because we are moving into a bigger house) - I'd be on my way to Nordstrom for some new Jimmy Choo's!

Just because two people are buying a bigger house - does not mean that they are having a baby! However I will say that for some reason the hubs is starting to let his mind wander when it comes to this subject. We have always been on the same page when it comes to having kids. If God wants us to have one, I guess we will deal. But we do NOT want one, we are not trying to have one, they are not a part of our "plan".  BUT, lately he's been making comments that are very "baby". I don't like this. I don't like this at all. I am guarding my birth control pills with my life, haha!

It's not that I don't like kids. In fact, I adore them and am really great with them! I just don't want one that I am responsible for. Some women love being pregnant. Some women love the thought of a big family. Some women are very maternal. I am none of the above. I am a petite little 5 foot 2 1/2 inch nugget who loves her cocktails, starbucks, freedom, a nice clean home and being physically able to kick and punch my stress away at HotBox.

So please don't ask. Unless God has other plans - I am good with our three babies covered in fur!

FOUR Months Of Bliss

Hello Everyone,

There is nothing like getting good news!!  But there is REALLY nothing like getting good news on a "milestone date" in your life.

The hubs and I got some GREAT news on our "Four Month" anniversary!! We got an "accepted offer" on a house we are buying!!! I know there isn't anything special about being married "4 months", well not to most. But my husband and I have this strange thing with fours and eights, especially eights. It's kind of eerie.

A few examples for you. There are plenty more. These are just the first that come to mind.

We met on 4/4/08
I started my job in the town I moved (to be with my how hubs) on 4/8
We got engaged on Sept 26th (6 + 2 = 8)
Our wedding date is 4/22/12 (Yes 4 and then 2 +2 is 4 .. which equals 8)


Now, as I mentioned in the blog HOME SWEET HOME we were house hunting earlier this summer. Sadly the original house we wanted fell through. BUT everything works out in God's perfect timing because we found another house that is SO much better! It is for sure, without a doubt, "the one". Ready for some more magic 8's?!

It was day 88 on the market that we got an ACCEPTED contract on the place we are selling!
The buyer wants to close (his choice) on Sept 26th. Yup, the ONE year anniversary of our engagement!
The accepted offer on our new house has both a 4 and an 8 in it.

I bet we sound totally crazy, haha! We aren't - it's just always weird like that. 4's and 8's always find their way into our life in some weird way.
